Miami Fashion Week 2024: Shari Liu on the René Ruiz Runway

Highlighting SLA’s position as a notable brand within the world of fashion, Shari Liu walked in the René Ruiz fashion show at the 2024 Miami Fashion Week.

On January 26th at the Gary Nader Art Gallery in Miami, SLA’s Shari Liu walked the catwalk of René Ruiz for Miami Fashion Week. Having been the designer’s muse for over thirty years, Shari Liu yet again solidified their long-lasting relationship at this year’s Miami Fashion Week as she walked in the designer’s fashion show. Ruiz debuted his new Spring 2024 collection at the show: a showcase of talent, stunning looks and endless style inspiration. 

Born in Cuba, fashion designer René Ruiz settled in Miami early on in his life; the city significantly influenced his work as the main bridge between US and Latin America. In the 1990s, he opened his first atelier in the South Florida enclave of Coral Gables, now credited as one of Miami’s most renowned fashion designers for over three decades.
